On the race track in Sosnova everybody who had even the smallest link to motoring enjoyed themselves to the full. This project was a display presentation of the newly arising ACTION RACING MANIA motoring club.
Throughout the day various spaces were available for different purposes.On the race track, visitors could test-drive different racing and sports cars, both as drivers and passengers of experienced professional trainers.
For a change, they drove large terrain vehicles on the off-road track slowly in order to get familiar with it, but the terrain was so demanding that even the small H3 Hummer had troubles completing the course. In the H2, and especially the H1, there were no such problems.
Other attractions were go-karts, quads and a test of skill drive in a specially adapted vehicle.
The most sophisticated element of this event was the setting up of a special reservation system for the arrival of new guests and visitors so that everyone could get to all the attractions without confusion.
In the evening there followed a transfer to Machovo Jezero, where a great summer party was prepared with a main stage and several performances by, for instance, Hamleti, J. Laufer, P. Kotvald, Martin Hrdinka’s disco, etc. We should mention that the greatest hit was the discotheque on the “steamer” circling the lake which people enjoyed late into the night…and nobody drowned!
